Haven’t jumped to Thunderbolt yet but use alot of nvme’s in enclosures through usb c. Have a nice 2 tb Samsung evo nvme in a satechi dock hooked into my Mac mini. Nvme is def the way to go. I use a sata ssd for launching any games and some temp Files as well. Couple hdd’s for backups and Time Machine

From what I understand is that the T30 has a noisier bearing, in noise normalised test the noise is usually louder wind noise but bearing noise is always present. I've heard from people with the T30's that noctua's are more silent due to their SSO bearing's and not just normal FDB bearings

The fans are never at 100%. This was just a sound test at 100% fan speed. Liquid temps max out around 27c with fans around 2,000 rpm / 60%ish speeds.
